Weekly Meeting Minutes 1. Announcements: Reminder, there will be the SPWG meeting next Friday in the EAF. 2. Operations Constraints: No unusual SVM activity planned, continuous DSN contact all week. Switch from Submode 6 to 5 at 14:00 UT on Monday, April 14. 3. The following coordinated observations are taking place: M Apr 14 (W16) JOP051, Quiet Sun UV/EUV and H-alpha Jets (#1415), EIT/CDS/SUMER/BBSO (H-alpha and Vector Magnetograph), BBSO: Haimin Wang, 16:00 - 19:00 UT, EOF: Jongchul Chae Return to Submode 5 (SUMER Science Data), 14:00 UT T Apr 15 JOP051, Quiet Sun UV/EUV and H-alpha Jets, (#1415) VLA/EIT/CDS/SUMER/BBSO (H-alpha and Vector Magnetograph), BBSO: Haimin Wang, 16:00 - 19:00 UT, VLA: Rob Willson, VLA: 15:00-19:00 UT, EOF: Jongchul Chae W Apr 16 JOP051, Quiet Sun UV/EUV and H-alpha Jets, (#1415) EIT/CDS/SUMER/BBSO (H-alpha and Vector Magnetograph), BBSO: Haimin Wang, 16:00 - 19:00 UT, EOF: Jongchul Chae T Apr 17 JOP051, Quiet Sun UV/EUV and H-alpha Jets, (#1415) VLA/EIT/CDS/SUMER/BBSO (H-alpha and Vector Magnetograph), BBSO: Haimin Wang, 16:00 - 19:00 UT, VLA: Rob Willson, VLA: 15:00-19:00 UT, EOF: Jongchul Chae F Apr 18 SPWG JOP051, Quiet Sun UV/EUV and H-alpha Jets, (#1415) EIT/CDS/SUMER/BBSO (H-alpha and Vector Magnetograph), BBSO: Haimin Wang, 16:00 - 19:00 UT, EOF: Jongchul Chae S Apr 19 JOP051, Quiet Sun UV/EUV and H-alpha Jets, (#1415) VLA/EIT/CDS/SUMER/BBSO (H-alpha and Vector Magnetograph), BBSO: Haimin Wang, VLA: Rob Willson, VLA: 15:00-19:00 UT, EOF: Jongchul Chae S Apr 20 Other Activities for Week 16: * Target of Opportunity April 3-May 1, JOP059 (#1385), Structure and Variability of Loops, CDS/EIT/MDI/SUMER/Yohkoh-SXT, EOF: Andrzej Fludra * MDI Continuous. MDI focus on helioseismology; MDI will provide full disk magnetogram every 96 minutes, but no other campaign support * JOP061 test, Brightenings, Flows and Waves (#1420), CDS/SUMER/MDI/EIT, EOF: Isabelle Ruedi Planners for Week 16: SOL - Barbara Thompson CDS - Andzej Fludra SUMER - Udo Schuehle UVCS - Steven Cranmer EIT - Barbara Thompson MDI - Joe Covington LASCO - Mike Andrews Other Notes: ------------ CDS -- active region observations penciled in when not supporting JOPs.. SUMER -- quiet sun observations will probably fill in the activities when they are not supporting the various JOPS.. See what targets the Sun provides. EIT -- will be doing some support for JOP051 observations, and will be continuing the 195 Angstrom CME watch. UVCS -- will be performing observations at the South polar coronal hole LASCO -- will be performing basic synoptic, plus taking C2 observations at the pole and C1 observations at the limb.. MDI -- will be in continuous contact. Will still provide synoptic full disk magnetograms every 96 minutes. A.O.B. ------ There will be a Science Club next Wednesday. Ted Tarbell has volunteered to give a talk. After the weekly meeting, CDS said they are changing the name of their generic planning account. The new account to use is: planner@cds8.nascom.nasa.gov Just a reminder, all the accounts are: CDS - planner@cds8.nascom.nasa.gov SUMER - planner@sumop1.nascom.nasa.gov UVCS - planner@uvcs14.nascom.nasa.gov EIT - eit@gavroc.nascom.nasa.gov LASCO - planner@lasco10.nascom.nasa.gov MDI - mdiers@mdisas.nascom.nasa.gov SOC - calendar@esa.nascom.nasa.gov
