WEEKLY MEETING MINUTES Week 42, October 11-17, 2004 1. Announcements ---------------- * Monday is Columbus day, a federal holiday. SOC office will be staffed from 16:30-21 UT (12:30-5pm). * The public lobby of Bldg. 9 (the Main Gate) will be undergoing renovation from Monday, Sept. 20 - Sunday, Oct. 17. All temporary badging activities will be relocated to Bldg. 88, Visitor's Center. All security services on the first floor of Bldg. 9 must be accessed via the outside entrance on the northwest end of the building (closest to Bldg. 8, adjacent to the location where special vehicle inspections occur at the Main Gate). * The Main Gate will be closed to all vehicular traffic over the Columbus Day weekend, starting at 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9 - Monday, Oct. 11. This closure is to remove lead paint and repaint the canopy over the roadway. Gate #5 on Soil Conservation Road at Building 17, will be the only access to the main campus. The Main Gate will reopen at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 12. 2. Operations Constraints ------------------------- * Commanding times for the week: Monday - Gap from 14:45-19:15 UT. Tuesday - Commanding is good all day. Wednesday - Commanding is good all day. Thursday - Gap from 17:40-19:35 UT. Friday - Commanding is good all day. Saturday - Commanding is good all day. Sunday - Commanding is good all day. Interference from the MSG satellite is expected on Madrid passes at shifting times around 10:50 UT, for a few minutes each time, starting Wednesday - spacecraft will be time tagged to be in record for relevant times. 3.
