Announcements ---------------- * EOF visitors on Monday 8 December at 11am * Sunday 14 December the student ECS operator will work only until noon instead of the usual hours * SOHO Holiday Party will be on Monday, December 15 in the Bldg 3 conference room at 11:30am. There will be a sign-up sheet in the EOF and the FOT offices. * 2nd RHESSI/NESSI WORKSHOP, Distribution Functions of Energetic Flare Particles, Glasgow, Scotland, March 24-26, 2004, http://www.astro.gla.ac.uk/users/eduard/rhessi/workshop2/ * During the 34m keyhole (Dec 25-Jan 5) there will be an early morning pass and an afternoon pass each day. Emily will work the last hour of the early morning pass each day (including holidays and weekends) and a SOC or student will work the afternoon pass each day. Emily can perform simple health checks for any instrument that is interested - see SOC for details. 2. Operations Constraints ------------------------- * EIT Shutterless Run #13, Segment 1 on Tuesday 16-18:40 UT Segment 2 on Sunday 11-13:40 UT * UVCS Theta Oph star observations on Friday * ICAL01 will be on Wednesday, time TBD * The ten-day HGA improvement operations schedule continues the same as before: no NRT during the times 4-6 UT, 12-14 UT and 20-22 UT by default. Times may be shifted when DSN is not available. Testing will be performed upon completion of the improvement operations. * Commanding times for next week: Gaps every day during commanding times except on Thursday. DSS-27 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Thursday has continuous contact after 06:30 UT. Monday - Gap 14:35-19:30 UT, then DSS-27. Tuesday - Gap 12:05-13:40 UT. Wednesday - Gap 12:20-13:40 UT and 17:05-19:40 UT Thursday - Overlapping stations all day. Friday - Gap 13-13:50 UT. Saturday - Gap 18:35-19:55 UT. Sunday - Gap 20:10-22:20 UT. 3.
